So erzählt Andre Kronert mit seinem housigen Remix zu B1000 die Geschichte eines akustischen Sonnenaufgangs, auf schiebendem Sub-Bass schichtet er harmonische Flächensounds und lichte Melodieansätze auf. Das minimal gehaltene Original vom Kollektiv Ost durchstreift dagegen zwielichtige Sound-Gefilde und erkundet einzelne Klangelemente. Von einer gleichzeitig entspannten und umtriebigen Lebensweise zeugt Leafs von Schäufler & Zovsky. Sie kombinieren verträumte Melodie-Spielereien mit überaus aufgeweckten und funktionalen Rhythmen. Mollono.Bass konzentriert sich in seiner Version dieser Geschichte auf eingängigen Groove und zeichnet ein treibendes und perfide hypnotisches Klangbild.

English Version:

Being a musical vagabond involves quite some illustrious stories and quite some adventures. Four of those are captured on this exciting record. In his housey remix of “B1000”, Andre Kronert tells about an acoustic sunrise. Based on driving sub-basses, he piles up layers of harmonic pad sounds and light melodies. The minimal plot of the original version by Kollektiv Ost roams twilight sceneries and explores single sounds and effects. Schaeufler & Zovsky give insight into a both relaxed and go-getting attitude towards life. Their contribution “Leafs” combines dreamy melodies with very lively and functional rhythms. In his own version of this acoustic tale, Mollono.Bass concentrates on a catchy groove and creates a very inspiring, deep and perfidious hypnotic atmosphere.

Mit der einfachen und direkten Botschaft KOMMT ZUSAMMEN vereint die vierte CD aus dem Hause 3000 Grad Künstler aus Mecklenburg-Vorpommern mit international bekannten Künstlern.

Die CD führt den Gedanken des jährlichen KOMMT ZUSAMMEN – Festival in Rostock weiter und ist damit viel mehr als eine klassische Festival-Compilation. KOMMT ZUSAMMEN ist auch ein Stück Lebensgefühl. So kann man beim Hören der Compilation die lachenden Möwen an der Küste fast sehen. Man kann erahnen wie es ist, wenn der Wind über die Müritz pfeift und nebenan ein paar Jungs ihr Segelboot wieder flott machen. Neben bereits etablierten Künstlern, wie Dapayk, Stimming, Rundfunk3000 oder The Glitz sind es gerade die neuen (vielleicht auch jungen wilden) Künstler, wie Umami, David Pasternack und Schäufler&Zovsky, die dieses Lebensgefühl aufgreifen und in ihrer Musik verarbeiten.

KOMMT ZUSAMMEN – Get together: This is the simple and direct message of the fourth CD on 3000° Records, a motto that unites local artists from Mecklenburg with internationally renowned ones.

The CD takes up the idea of the annual KOMMT ZUSAMMEN festival in Rostock and that is why it goes far beyond the scope of a classical festival compilation. Rather, KOMMT ZUSAMMEN is an attitude towards life. Listening to the compilation makes you virtually see the laughing seagulls at the Baltic Sea. It gives rise to the idea of wind blowing across the thousand lakes of the North-East German state while some guys on the shore are getting their sailing boat ready. Beside well-established names like Dapayk, Stimming, Rundfunk3000 or The Glitz, it’s especially the new (probably also the young and wild) artists like Umami, David Pasternack and Schaeufler & Zovski who are inspired by this lifestyle and who set it to music. So war es nur eine Frage der Zeit bis uns die beiden Glitz mit ihrem ersten Longplayer beehren. Dass dies kein normales Album ist, dürfte für die meisten nach den zahlreichen The Glitz-Releases auf Ideal, Material-Series, Voltage-Musique und Pocketgame keine Überraschung mehr sein. Den rhythmischen Treibstoff für „The Village“ liefern ungezwungen bis lasziv anmutende Houseklänge, deren warmer und freundlicher Charakter von dubbigen und organischen Bassläufen unterstrichen wird. Passend dazu erwecken luftige Melodien, hier und da klassische Filtermodulationen und dezenter Vocaleinsatz den durchweg positiven und entspannten Eindruck einer sonnendurchfluteten Sonntagsabfahrt von beschwingter Heiterkeit.

Snugness and calmness are important ingredients for a fulfilled life- and for entertaining dance music as well, as is proven by the gentlemen Schaeufler and Zovsky. Their debut album could be characterized as a cunning mixture of humorously grinning relaxation and pushing dance floor bounce. This unique sound reflects the stylistic background of the duo: While the one keeps grooving on the laid back and independent vibe of his rural home Mecklenburg, the other moved to Berlin already some time ago and inhales all the diverse, international influences of the electronic metropolis. “The Village” is rhythmically fuelled by casual and lasciviously House tunes with a warm and friendly character, supported by organic, dubby bass lines. Matching this positive and uplifting mood, light melodies, classical styled filter modulations and unobtrusive vocal entries remind the laid-back amusement of a sunlit Sunday outing.

Nachdem die illustre Truppe des Mecklenburger Wanderzirkus mit ihrer abenteuerlichen bis verwegenen Klangakrobatik jüngst in zahlreichen deutschen Städten für Aufsehen bzw. -horchen sorgte, legt 3000° Records nun den zweiten Teil des Soundtracks zu ihrem heiteren Treiben vor. Wie während ihrer Shows in der Manege, so geht es auch auf diesem Zwölfzöller ausgesprochen abwechslungsreich und unterhaltsam zu: Das Trio Funkwerkstatt weiß durch einen luftig- leichten Drahtseilakt mit beinahe schon songartigem Vocaleinsatz zu begeistern, als nächstes zaubern ihre Kollegen von The Glitz mit verruchter Elegant ein Lächeln auf die Lippen des Publikums. Auf der Rückseite offenbart die vorliegende Wandzirkus EP zwei weitere Klangkunststücke: Buchstäbliches Mitfiebern ist angesagt, wenn Carsten Rausch sein rapides Hypnosekunststück namens Fever darbietet und schließlich präsentieren die Herren Schäufler & Zovsky mit ihrer lebhaft gestalteten Posse Am Utkieck einen anregend- humorvollen Abschluss des Programms.

After the illustrious crew of the travelling circus from the North- East German corner stirred quite some attention in numerous places with their adventurous to daring sound acrobatics recently, 3000° Records now presents the already second part of the soundtrack for their frisky tricks. And just like the atmosphere in the ring during their shows, also this twelve inch turns out to be distinctive entertaining and exciting: The trio Funkwerkstatt knows how to enthral their audience with light and easy groove juggling, including almost song-like vocal entries. In the beginning of February they left their urban sphere and headed towards the beautiful landscape of Mecklenburg for a very special Wandertag, which is the German expression for a hiking day. Through snow-covered forests and past frozen lakes they finally arrived at the cosy Dacha on the ground of Fusion festival where the Fortschritt3000 crew welcomed them very heartily. Little by little more and more guests arrived ant the evening became more and more frisky and social. And so mister Dreher & Smart soon unpacked their music machines and serenaded the audience. They set all the experiences from their eventful day to music and so also the recording became very entertaining and exciting: On a continuously forcing groove varied sound constructions unfold, which lead from trippy-minimal deepness over hypnotic melodies and through huge reverb rooms to distinctive percussive take offs. The unobtrusive reactions from the dance floor mixed into confer Wandertag its authentic live atmosphere and increase the anyhow very strong pressure of this recording.
